|Bally Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in Nevada on September 30, 1968, under the name Advanced Patent Technologies. Following two other name changes, it became Alliance Gaming Corporation on December 19, 1994, and on March 6, 2006, it changed its name to Bally Technologies, Inc. It is a diversified, worldwide gaming company that innovates, designs, manufactures, operates, and distributes advanced technology-based gaming devices, systems and server-based solutions. As a global gaming-systems company, it offers technology solutions which provide gaming operators with a wide range of marketing, data management and analysis, accounting, player tracking, security, and other software applications and tools to more effectively manage their operations. It also provides technologies to utilize a networked, server-based gaming environment.
