| Eaton Vance Senior Floating-Rate Trust (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income. The Trust may, as a secondary objective, also seek preservation of capital to the extent consistent with its primary objective. Under normal market conditions, the Trust invests at least 80% of its total assets in senior, secured floating-rate loans (senior loans). The Trust may also invest in second lien loans and high-yield bonds. The Trust may invest in Eaton Vance Cash Reserves Fund, LLC (Cash Reserves Fund), an affiliated investment company managed by Eaton Vance Management (EVM). The Trust invests primarily in below investment grade floating-rate loans and floating-rate debt obligations. Eaton Vance Management serves as the investment advisor to the Trust. |
