The Company's Match segment, it is a provider of subscription-based online personals services in the United States and various jurisdictions abroad. The company provides these services through websites that it owns and operates in twenty-five countries, eight languages and five continents, as well as through its mobile application in the United States. The Company provides services through branded websites that it owns and operates, including, among others, Match.com, Chemistry.com, BlackPeopleMeet.com and SeniorPeopleMeet.com. The company’s market its products and services through a variety of traditional offline and online marketing. Its offline marketing activities consist of traditional marketing and business development activities, including television, print, radio and outdoor advertising and related public relations efforts. ServiceMagic is an online marketplace that connects consumers, by way of patented proprietary technologies, with home & other local service professionals, all of which are pre-screened and the majority of which are customer-rated. The Company markets its services to consumers mainly through search engine marketing, as well as through affiliate agreements with third parties. It currently competes with other service-related generation services, mainly home service-related services, as well as with internet directories and local advertising. The Company’s Media & Other segment currently consists mainly of Shoebuy, Pronto, Connected Ventures, Evite, Gifts.com, InstantAction.com, The Daily Beast and Electus.
