The Company's products are categorized in four categories namely; Admitted Programs and Standard Market Products ;Main Street Excess and Surplus Lines; Non-Admitted Programs; and Specialty Market Products. As a provider of specialty programs, products and risk management services, the company faces a highly competitive industry that is cyclical and historically characterized by periods of high premium rates and shortages of underwriting capacity followed by periods of intense competition and excess underwriting capacity. It competes with other providers of specialty insurance programs, products, and risk management services, as well as, with traditional providers of commercial insurance.
