DESCRIPTION
| ArcelorMittal SA is a steel and mining company. It produces stainless and electrical steels, and nickel alloys in Europe and Brazil. It offers ferritic, austentic, hair resisting, and martentistic stainless steels; austentic stainless steel containing manganese; and austentic stainless steel containing molybdenum for manifold flanges and hanging systems, intermediate pipes, emission control systems, and manifolds. The Company manufactures cold rolled, electrogalvanized and coated steels, slabs, special quality bars, and wire rods. The Company offers stainless steel for use in sinks, tableware, pots, and household appliances; automobiles, buses, and train wagons; façades, elevators, escalators, and urban furniture; and industrial kitchens, hospital equipment, capital goods equipment, and the industry in general. It also offers electrical steels to manufacture cores for power and distribution transformers, hydro and turbo generators, electric motors, reactors for lighting systems, ballasts for lighting systems, power reactors and meters, and motors for hermetic compressors. The Company sells its products to aerospace, catering, construction, electrical engineering, industrial processes, and medical industries. |
