Raytheon Company was founded in 1922 and is incorporated in the state of Delaware. It is the surviving company of the 1997 merger of HE Holdings, Inc. and Raytheon Company. It provides technology-driven solutions that provide integrated mission systems for the critical defense and non-defense needs of its customers. The Company's integrated businesses assure mission success with a broad range of products and services in government electronics, space, information technology, technical services, business, aviation and special mission aircraft. Integrated Defense Systems provides affordable, integrated solutions to a strong international and domestic customer base, including the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the U.S. Armed Forces and the Department of Homeland Security. Intelligence and Information Systems business provides solutions that enable intelligence professionals to obtain and decipher timely information that is key to its national security. Raytheon's Missile Systems business designs and manufactures key weapons and critical requirements, including air-to-air, strike, surface Navy air defense, land combat missiles, guided projectiles, exoatmospheric kill vehicles, and directed energy weapons. Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS) develops and produces mission solutions for networking, command and control, battle space awareness, and air traffic management. Raytheon Technical Service Company specializes in Mission Support, counter-proliferation and counter-terrorism, base and range operations, and customized engineering services. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) designs and develops integrated systems for crucial missions. The Company’s key customers include the U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force and Marine Corps, the MDA and the Department of Homeland Security, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, Korea, United Kingdom, U.S. Intelligence Community, the U.S. Department of Defense, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the U.K. Home Office and the DHS. It is subject to regulations and requirements of the U.S. Government agencies.
