DESCRIPTION
| Burger King Worldwide Inc is a Delaware corporation, was formed on April 2, 2012. The Company franchises and operates fast food hamburger restaurants, principally under the Burger King brand. Its restaurants feature flame-grilled hamburgers, chicken and other specialty sandwiches, french fries, soft drinks and other affordable-priced food items. It generates revenues from two sources namely retail sales at company-owned restaurants; and franchise and property revenues, consisting primarily of royalties based on a percentage of sales reported by franchise restaurants, initial and renewal franchise fees paid by franchisees and property income from restaurants that it leases or subleases to franchisees. The Company’s main competitors are McDonald’s and Wendy’s as well as regional hamburger restaurant chains, such as Carl’s Jr., Jack in the Box and Sonic. |
