| Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is a Canadian-based, global financial institution and serves its clients through two distinct business lines: CIBC Retail Markets and Wholesale Banking. CIBC Retail Markets comprises CIBC’s personal banking, business banking and wealth management businesses. It provides a financial products and services to personal, business and wealth management clients in Canada, as well as investment management services globally to retail and institutional clients in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Caribbean. In addition, Retail Markets offers financial services to clients in 17 regional markets in the Caribbean through First Caribbean International Bank. Wholesale Banking (previously known as CIBC World Markets) provides a of credit, capital markets, investment banking, merchant banking and research products and services to government, institutional, corporate and retail clients in Canada and in key markets around the world. CIBC’s two operating groups are supported by five functional groups: Technology and Operations; Corporate Development; Finance (including Treasury); Administration; and Risk Management. CIBC has a strategic imperative to deliver consistent and sustainable performance over the long term. |
