| Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Idenix) is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of human viral diseases with operations in the United States and France. In July 2012, the FDA granted Fast Track designation for IDX719. The Company, as of December 31, 2012, was developing nucleotide polymerase inhibitors and NS 5A inhibitors to inhibits HCV replication, which include nucleoside/nucleotide polymerase inhibitors and NS5A Inhibitors. On January 25, 2013, the Company entered into a non-exclusive collaboration agreement with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc for the clinical evaluation of all oral DAA HCV combination therapies. |
