| Eaton Vance Limited Duration Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income. The Fund may, as a secondary objective, also seek capital appreciation to the extent it is consistent with its primary objective. The Fund invests at least 25% of total assets in each of investments rated investment grade, including, but not limited to, the United States government securities (which include the United States Treasuries, mortgage-backed securities, and other securities issued, backed, or otherwise guaranteed by the United States government, or its agencies or instrumentalities), commercial mortgage-backed securities and corporate debt obligations rated investment grade, and investments rated below investment grade, including senior loans and high-yield debt securities. Fund assets may also include, among others, unsecured loans and money market instruments. |
