| National Penn Bancshares, Inc. is a bank holding company. The Company provides a range of financial services, principally through its national bank subsidiary, National Penn Bank (the Bank), including its KNBT and Nittany divisions. As of December 31, 2012, National Penn operated 114 retail branch offices throughout 13 counties. |
