The Company’s main customers include mass volume retailers and chain drug stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and Target in the U.S., Shoppers DrugMart in Canada, A.S. Watson & Co. retail chains in Asia Pacific and Europe and Boots in the U.K. Its main competitors are L’Oréal S.A., The Procter & Gamble Company, Avon Products, Inc. and The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. The Company also competes with similar products sold in prestige and department stores, television shopping, door-to-door, specialty stores, the internet, perfumeries and other distribution outlets. The Company’s major trademarks are registered in the U.S. and in over 150 other countries. The Company is subject to regulation by the Federal Trade Commission and the Food and Drug Administration in the U.S., as well as various other federal, state, local and foreign regulatory authorities, including those in the European Union, Canada and other countries in which the Company operates.|
