| Omagine, Inc. is a holding company. The Company conducts substantially all its operations through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Journey of Light, Inc. (JOL) and Omagine LLC (Omagine LLC). JOL and Omagine LLC are engaged primarily in the business of real estate development in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company focuses on real estate development, entertainment and hospitality ventures and on developing, building, owning and operating tourism and residential real estate development projects, primarily in the Middle East and North Africa (the MENA Region).
