| Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc. (Home Inns), is an economy hotel chain in the People’s Republic of China. As of December 31, 2009, the Home Inns hotel chain consisted of 390 leased-and-operated hotels in operation with an additional six leased-and-operated hotels under development and 226 franchised-and-managed hotels in operation with an additional 63 franchised-and-managed hotels under development, covering 120 cities in the People’s Republic of China. The Company’s subsidiaries include Home Inns & Hotels Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Hong Kong Ai Home Hotel Investment Limited, Hulchuang Hotel Management (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Huiju Hotel Equipment Lease Co. Ltd. On September 30, 2011, the Company sold Motel 168 International Holdings Limited. In July 2012, the Company acquired 100% interest in Anhui Youle Fashion Hotel Management Co., Ltd. and Anhui Meibang Hotel Management Co., Ltd. (collectively eJia Express). |
