| The investment seeks to provide long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in small capitalization equity securities economically tied to the U.S. It invests principally in common stocks of small capitalization U.S. companies, some of which are also considered micro capitalization U.S. companies. The fund may also invest in securities of non-U.S. issuers by purchasing American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") or Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs"). |
